Disability

Our Process

During the 18-months research and creation process, the youths interviewed differently-abled people, their parents, caregivers and special needs educators to get insights into their lives.

We brought them on tours to Dignity Kitchen and Rainbow Centre, and provided talks by our resource panel, to give them an understanding on employment and education options that are available in the disability sector. They also went through a series of simulation exercises to experience what it would feel like living with various physical, sensory and developmental impairment.

Simultaneously, the youth read articles, reports and journal about their experiences.
